April:2011
15th Opening Day at 4 p.m.
May:
6th Outdoor Movie Night. Come up to the office for a family
friendly film on our projector.
14th Carry-In at noon. Bring your favorite side dish up to the rec. room for
some good food. We will provide the Spaghetti.
Rock Band Tourney. Come up and Challenge your friends or parents to a
battle of the Rock Bands. After the Carry-In. This is a one time
event for the season. Come up to the office to see the trophy you
might win.
15th Church Service: 10:00 a.m. Come to the Rec room for a
service officiated by Rev. Robert Gonser.
28th BINGO. 11 a.m. Come up and play BINGO. All Ages can play. 100% pay
out plus prizes.
Kickball 12 p.m. Bring your buddies and your parents for a game of
kickball.
Fire With S'mores. 5 p.m. Come up to the office for a s'more on us.
Putt-Putt Tourney. 6 p.m. After S'mores play some 100 % payout
Putt-Putt.
29th Golf Cart Cruising in the Meadow and Bicycle Race. 12 p.m. Come up
for our annual time when you seasonals' are allowed to drive on the grass.
Come up for activities tied to the Indy 500. Even if you don't have a golf
cart come up and watch. Kids prepare to race for prizes.
June:
10th Ice Cream Social: 8 p.m. Bring a bowl and a topping for some
socialization and relaxation.
11th Euchre 7p.m. Come up to the arcade and play euchre against your
neighbors. $2 entry per person. 100% payout plus prizes.
10th Campground Rummage 8a.m.-5p.m. please come up to the office to
register your site if you want to participate.
11th Campground Rummage 8a.m.-noon
25th Golf Outing. 7 a.m. Sign up to cross the road and play for the bragging
rights of the best golfer at Sports Lake. ( schedule permitting.)
Carry-In at noon. Bring your favorite side dish up to the rec. room for
some good food. We will provide the burgers and hot dogs.
July:
1st Putt-Putt Tourney. 7 p.m. Play some 100 % payout plus prizes
Putt-Putt.
2nd Scavenger hunt. 10 a.m. kids 13 and under come up to the office
to go on a scavenger hunt.
Parade at noon. Decorate your bicycle or golf cart and parade it through
the grounds. Prizes and fun.
Ragball. 1:30 p.m. After the parade hang around and play rag ball (softball
without having to use gloves).
Bring your dad or mom to play as a family.
Bingo. 8 p.m. Come up and win some money. The more people
who play the more you have a chance to win.
Pool Party. 9-11 p.m. Kids 12 and up can come up and swim while
house DJ Jesse
dazzles with today's top hits and a light show.
3rd Slip and Slide. 2-4 p.m. Children 14 and under can come and race
against each other on our inflatable slip and slide.
4th Fireworks. Come down to the lake at dark and watch the show. The
Fireworks are not put on by Sports Lake Campground. The show is put
on by close friends and are across the lake from the campgrounds.
16th Slip and Slide. 1-3 p.m. Children 14 and under can come and race
against each other on our inflatable slip and slide.
Cornhole Tourney. make plans in advance to come claim the 1st
Sports Lake cornhole champion trophy. Challenge your friends and
family to a game of Cornhole up at the office.
17th Church Service: 10:00 a.m. Come to the Rec room for a
service officiated by Rev. Robert Gonser.
August:
5th Ice Cream Social: 8 p.m. Bring a bowl and a topping for some
socialization and relaxation.
Outdoor Movie Night. Come up to the office for a family
friendly film on our projector.
6th Carry-In at noon. Bring your favorite side dish up to the rec. room for
some good food and conversation. We will provide the Fried Chicken.
Horshoe Tourney. 2 p.m. Some think they're better than the rest.
Come put your money where your mouth is. Sports Lake will
provide a trophy for this event so bring your "A" game.

service officiated by Rev. Robert Gonser.
September:
2nd Fire With S'mores. 5 p.m. Come up to the office for a s'more on us.
Outdoor Movie Night. Come up to the office for a family
friendly film on our projector.
3rd Putt-Putt Tourney. 7 p.m. 100 % payout and prizes
Bingo. 8 p.m. Come up and win some money. The more people
who play the more you have a chance to win.
4th Fishing Tourney. 11 a.m. stop time. Come up to the office the night
before to take a shot at catching the biggest fish. $3 entry 100%
payout.
Golf Cart Cruising in the Meadow and Bicycle Race. 12 p.m. Come up
for our second time annually when you seasonals' are allowed to drive on
the grass. This time on the West peninsula. Even if you don't have a golf
cart come up and watch. Kids prepare to race for prizes.
18th Church Service: 10:00 a.m. Come to the Rec room for a
service officiated by Rev. Robert Gonser.
30th Outdoor Movie Night. Come up to the office rain or
shine for a family friendly film on our projector.
October:
1st Football. 3 p.m. Come up for a game of flag football before the chili
carry in. Bring your girlfriend and or wive and show them how manly
you are while your chili simmers.
Chili-In 5 p.m.. Bring your favorite side dish up to the rec. room for
some good chili. Ryan will make a mild and hot batch of chili as usual.
15th Closing Day. Power will be turned of
at 4 p.m. and the gate will be closed.
